 We
are excited to be partnering with Chick-fil-A this season.
And, yes, they are giving away free food at Duck-Duck-Goose!
Chick-fil-A is giving away a free breakfast to the first 20 people
in line each morning of the public event.
If you miss the free breakfast, don't worry, you can still purchase
your
hot Chick-fil-A chicken biscuit and coffee while in line.
They will also be in the store near the maternity section with their
great tasting sandwiches, nuggets and sweet ice tea for lunch and
dinner.

Duck-Duck-Goose has become
a community event! We are excited to introduce a new way to help
your church, school or organization this season!
It’s what we call…
FUNDRAISER FRIDAY!!!
Here's how it works:
Click here
and print off one
flyer for your organization. Completely fill in the contact
information in the upper right hand corner and make enough copies to
distribute to your church, school, soccer team, dance class, scout
troop, etc… Any organization that needs to make money can get
involved!!!
What’s in it for
you?
Your students, members,
players, supporters, etc…
1. Will bring a copy of the
filled-out flyer with them to Duck-Duck-Goose Friday, March 12,
2010 (Friday
only).
2. After shopping, simply have
them present their form at checkout.
That's it!
Duck-Duck-Goose will calculate
the total of all purchases made with your flyers (on
Friday only) and
send your organization a check for 10% of the total. Checks will be mailed at the end of the sale.
It's that easy!
Hey, think about it:
The more flyers you hand out and the more excitement you generate
for your fundraiser, the more money your organization can
potentially earn!
Fun and simple fundraising!!!
NOTE: for a purchase
to qualify, filled-out
forms
must be presented at the time of Check-Out.
Organizations must be
established with a clearly defined purpose. Types of organizations
include educational, religious, philanthropic, cultural, hobby or
health. Examples of qualified organizations include schools, church
youth groups, charities, boy scouts/girl scouts, sports teams, etc.

For all of you who dislike waiting in
lines, we have a solution for you!
Don't wait ..........
DONATE!
Bring $10 to the next DK event to reserve your spot in line
while YOU continue to SHOP!
Here's how it works...
Local charities and organizations will have volunteers onsite
to
stand in line on your behalf… for a small donation ($10).
Imagine the freedom to shop and bring items back to your
“Duck-out-of-Line” volunteer… what a great way to give back!
You will be able to shop and bring your items back to your
particular "Duck-out-of-Line" volunteer. If they reach the
front of the line
before your are finished shopping... have no fear...
they will be able to step aside at the front of the line.
When you're ready, you will be next in line! It's that simple.
NOTE:
We are still taking volunteers
from local youth groups, charities, or other organizations needing
to raise support for their particular cause. Volunteers will
receive 100% of the profit from their collections. It doesn’t
get better than that! The longer you are able to stay… the more you
will be able to collect.
Times for participating are as follows:
Wednesday, March 10th - 4pm till 11pm
Thursday, March 11th - 9:30am till 5pm
Monday, March 15th - 9:30 till 3pm

interested in participating and what times work best for you.

What’s a Lucky Duck
Pass?
Those of you who consign and work 4 shifts or more will receive a
VIV (Very Important Volunteer) “Lucky Duck” pass.
There will be a special line reserved just for our
“Lucky Ducks”!
This includes anytime you shop Duck-Duck-Goose (the private,
public & half price day)! NO major lines for you!!!
PLEASE NOTE:
Sorting
shifts are not doubled, 4 individual shifts must be worked to
qualify to be a “Lucky Duck”. This pass is not transferable and is
good for duration of the current event.

Security
Tags |
|
-Security Tags-
Working with the general public the past 6 years, has
provided insight into the criminal mind. We are aware; there are
some less than honest shoppers that when given the opportunity will
switch tags. We have hired security (seen and unseen) and
planted secret shoppers around the store to catch any activity.
Although we encounter very few instances, not even ONE can be
tolerated! Our desire is to do everything possible to protect
your items.
This reality has led us to provide you with a secure
option. Last season we introduced security tags and they
worked very well for those who used them. We will have them
available again this season. These tags will be optional but
are highly recommended for your large equipment, furniture,
and higher priced items (breast pumps, carriers, designer diaper
bags, etc).
Made of heavy cardstock, these two-part tags with
matching security numbers will be fastened to your item through a
metal eyelet using a zip-tie. The shopper will remove the
bottom portion of the tag to purchase… so the upper part with your
information will remain on your item at all times.
At the time of purchase, the buyer will have their
claim ticket stamped to prove their purchase. Before leaving
the store, they will be asked to present their claim ticket for any
secured items. The two numbers on each tag must match before
the shopper can leave the store. Using these will provide a
great deal of security against a tag being lost or switched.
They will be available to purchase during drop-off for $1.00 each.
Please bring your completed index card for each item you wish to
secure. The card will be attached to the security tag at this time.
PLEASE NOTE: even though
these tags will make your items more secure, we cannot guarantee
your items against theft. |
